I just saw the 1976 Bob Newhart show episode “Jerry’s Retirement” and was delighted and surprised to see Howard Morris play “Shorty Vance”!!! I recognized him immediately, and the way he played his role (just like ETB) was crucial, piviotal and totally believable. It gave the episode even more laughable zing! What a talent. Wish he was on more episodes of BN and AGS.

I accidentally found the web site and loved earnest T and all his movies as I have seen quite a few. He is missed as they don’t make them like your dad anymore! Watch him on tv when he’s on. Thank you for sharing your dad with us! God Bless
